General Information:

Seeking licensed or licensed eligible therapist to provide therapy and counseling services to child victims of abuse and neglect and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and their non-offending family members. Services may include, but are not limited to, assessment, treatment planning, individual/family therapy, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, assistance in filing victim compensation claims, and recruitment and training of volunteers to work with victims of abuse and to seek supports and services for victims of abuse.    Employee will track utilization of the VOCA grant funds and report as required.  Employee will work within the Youth and Family Services Division under the supervision of the Outpatient Coordinator.


Minimum Training and Experience:

Master’s degree and licensed eligible. Desired: Experience working with children where there have been reports of abuse or neglect and their families. Experience providing counseling to trauma survivors.


Special Requirements:

Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by first day of employment and annually as required by licensing authority.
