General Information:

Participate in daily team meetings, psychiatric consultations, clinical supervision, program meetings and in/service trainings; participate in clinical reviews and case conferences.

  1. Comply with the agency's clinical accountability policies and procedures; maintain current, timely and complete clinical records; participate in quality assurance reviews when assigned.
  2. Comply with applicable program research and evaluation procedures.
  3. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Training and Experience:
  1. Masters degree in a social or behavioral science or relevant field.
  2. Interest or experience in working with consumers who are difficult to engage and refer to traditional programs. Ability to deal with consumers in safe, calm and therapeutic manner.
  3. Proof of relevant professional registration/license (minimum requirement is ability to quickly obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor registration).
  4. Ability to communicate and work effectively with consumers and staff from various backgrounds.
  5. Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services.
  6. Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work independently and exercise professional judgment.
  7. Basic computer skills: email, data entry, file creation, correspondence.
  8. Skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Respect for consumer rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential. Clear understanding and respect for the importance of maintaining consumer confidentiality.
  9. Subscribe to the philosophy of cooperation and continuity and of consideration and respect for consumers. MPNN CSB PACT expects a high degree of cooperation and collaboration among its staff, programs, and community agencies. The specific duties and responsibilities of each position necessarily requires flexibility cooperation to achieve the organization's and programs goals.
  10. Must have a Virginia Driver's License.

Special Requirements:
Must have a TB test with results available by orientation and yearly as required.
