General Information:

Under general supervision, maintains consumer records and responds to related inquiries for the Agency. Responsible for the location, filing and tracking of medical records and their contents. Responsible for coordinating the shipment of records to and from the Library of Virginia, for the purposes of storage and destruction.  Copies and sends records upon request from external auditors, clients, and subpoenas. Assists in monitoring consumer records to insure their integrity and compliance with licensure regulations and serves on Quality Assurance Team for the audit of clinical records. Maintains statistics and outcome data for MH Law Reform reports.

Minimum Training and Experience:

High School Diploma and 1 to 2 years’ experience in clerical, or secretarial related work preferably in a clinical setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience with MS Office programs.


Special Requirements:

 Must also be insurable under agency vehicle operator insurance.
