General Information:
Employee performs diverse administrative support responsibilities that assist the Emergency Services Coordinator and in the overall management of the Emergency Services and Cope Line Departments.  Work involves preparing a broad range of formal correspondence, compiling and reviewing information for reports and grants, assisting in the development and distribution of promotional and educational materials. Work requires the on-going preparation, submission and tracking of purchase requisitions. Work also involves arranging and scheduling for employment interviews, collecting and distributing mail, answering inquiries for information and departmental policies, processing time sheets and ordering and maintaining inventory supply.  Employee is responsible for maintaining a filing system. Work involves considerable public contact in providing information and receiving inquiries or complaints.

Minimum Training and Experience:


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in clerical or secretarial related work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Special Requirements:
  • Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by first day of employment and yearly thereafter as required by licensing authority.
  • Must maintain current certification in CPR and First Aid for hands on participation in Adventure Based activities.
