General Information:
Under limited supervision, employee manages residential programs provided to persons with a developmental l disability. Using Person Centered Thinking principles the position incumbent oversees the management of several teams comprised of a Program Supervisor, subordinate supervisors and Direct Support Professionals. Work involves coordinating, developing, directing, and assessing services throughout the Community Options Division. Individual oversees the implementation of services provided,  the work of the Program Supervisor, as well as performing administrative functions, to include developing program budgets, monitoring expenditures, submitting billing statements, monitoring the quality of electronic records, reviewing required documentation for quality and compliance and training staff on all policies and procedures. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, individuals, families, and service providers.

Minimum Training and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or Psychology, or related field, and 3 to 5 years experience supervising direct care programs for people with an intellectual disability; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.


Special Requirements:

Certification as an instructor in both CPR and First Aid; Medication Management and Medicaid Waiver Certifications; Certification as instructor in Person Centered Thinking.  Successful applicant will be trained by CSB if not certified.

Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier.
