Employee provides individual and group services to adults impacted by a serious mental illness utilizing the evidence-based, internationally recognized Clubhouse Model and in coordination with DMAS criteria for psychosocial and mental health skill building services. Complete clinical documentation ongoing. Share responsibilities for functions of the Clubhouse Program such as employment, education, housing, unit activities, and social/fundraising activities. Provide individualized services that focus on skill building. Engage, mentor, and work side-by-side with individuals in order to create an environment of belonging, with a focus on individual strengths, talents and interests. Assist individuals in developing vocational, educational, housing, wellness and social goals and objectives. This is a hybrid position with services provided at the Clubhouse and in the community.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Master’s Degree preferred), Social Work, Psychology, or related field; is certified QMHP-A within the Commonwealth of Virginia (QMHP-E considered). Experience with the Clubhouse Model, vocational services and mental health skill building preferred.
Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License. Must acquire and maintain CPR and First Aid Certifications. Must acquire non-violent crisis intervention certificate. Must be certified tuberculosis free on an annual basis must be COVID vaccinated.
Upon available funding, attend and participate in Clubhouse International training during course of employment (one-two week, out of state, Clubhouse training course).
