General Information:
Under general supervision, employee is responsible for providing services to clients and their families who participate in the Outreach Program.  Work involves planning and supervising daily program operations; providing crisis intervention/case management services as part of a system of family preservation to those children and adolescents who may be a risk to themselves or others and who may be at risk of out of home placement due to mental illness and/or severe behavioral problems.  Crisis intervention/case management services include client identification, assessment, planning, implementing, and monitoring services plans, advocacy, and resource development. Employee will also represent the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community services Board on the Family Assessment and Planning Teams or Community Policy Management Teams as necessary. Employee must exercise considerable initiative and judgment in the administration of departmental programs and must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, clients, families, public, and service providers.

Minimum Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Psychology, or related field, and 1 to 2 years' experience in case management.

Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by orientation and annually as required by licensing authority. Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification and complete all agency training requirements within the first 6 months of employment.
