General Information:
Are you an experienced Behavior Specialist with an interest in community mental health in the schools? Do you have a passion for helping others achieve change and a drive to continuously learn and improve the quality of your work? You may be the perfect addition to our team! Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services Board, a proud provider of community based mental health services, has multiple exciting opportunities for a Behavior Specialist in the local schools.

Minimum Training and Experience:
Our Behavior Specialists have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a human services field (Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Social Work) and at least one year of clinical experience working with children and adolescents. Must be state certified QMHP-C.  Our Behavior Specialists provide individual, family and group counseling in the schools, collaborating with school staff and multiple professionals to help their clients achieve their goals. This opportunity to work as a mental health professional while maintaining a 10 month work year as a full time employee with benefits is a fantastic position.

Special Requirements:
Must meet federal criminal background check, obtain a TB test with satisfactory results upon hire and yearly as required by licensing authority. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License. Must pass drug screening.
