Under general supervision, incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners providing services in the Warsaw and/or Gloucester clinics. Employee serves as a resource to other clinical staff regarding medication issues. Work involves maintaining and administering medications, providing appropriate answers to medical questions or requests from clients, their families and staff in a timely manner, obtaining and recording biometric data and client histories and case management services. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, clients, families, professionals, and the general public. Employee reports to the Medical Director as medical advisor, as well as directly to the Medical Operations Coordinator as administrative supervisor.
Graduation from Nursing school, and 3 to 5 years experience in general nursing or psychiatric nursing, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
