General Information:

Under minimal supervision, employee is responsible for the development and implementation of the residential and support programs for individuals with mental health and substance use diagnosis within the Community Service Board's ten-county catchment area. The incumbent manages several teams comprised of supervisors’ and direct care staff. Work involves developing, directing, and assessing services through teams assigned to specific geographic areas. Oversees the work of each team and manages the administrative functions of the programs, to include developing program budgets, monitoring district expenditures, recommending personnel actions, submitting billing statements, approving payroll time sheets, etc. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, individuals, families, and service providers.


Minimum Training and Experience:

Minimum Training and Experience:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Education Counseling, Rehabilitative Counseling, Psychology, or related field.  LPC, LCSW, or LCP License preferred, however,   license eligibility required.  Two or more years’ experience supervising residential and direct care programs for individuals diagnosed with a serious mental illness.

Special Requirements:

Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by orientation and annually as required by licensing authority. Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification. Must possess Medication Management and meet Medicaid credentials.
