General Information:
Under general supervision, employee is responsible for direct care and supervision of individuals in the Transitional residential facility.  Employee will identify behaviors, situations or physical plant conditions that obstruct safety and security.  Employ will plan, implement, and monitor both immediate and long range recommendations that create an environment of safety and security.  Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff individuals, families, and service providers.

Minimum Training and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1 to 2 years related experience in a medical or psychological field, involving work with the mentally ill, disabled, or dually diagnosed, preferably with an emphasis on the safety and security of individuals, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skilled and abilities. 


Special Requirements:

Must possess valid Virginia Driver's License and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier. Must possess  CPR/First Aid Certifications,  Medication Management.  Must be certified tuberculosis free annually.
