General Information:

Positions available in Warsaw and Saluda, Virginia.

Seeking licensed or licensed eligible therapist to provide services to children, adolescents, and their families, who may be at risk to themselves or others, or who may be at risk of hospitalization or other restrictive placement due tomental illness and/or severe behavioral problems. Employee may provide independentclinical evaluations under the Virginia Independent Clinical Assessment Programto assess eligibility for intensive community services. Therapist will also carrya caseload of clients court involved youth and will provide intensive outpatient services to those individuals and their families, including client identification, assessment, planning, implementing and monitoring service plans, and advocacy and resource development. Will work within the Youth and Family Services Division under the supervision of the Outpatient Coordinator. May lead groups and see outpatient clients as needed. Will work in close collaboration with all involved professionals and will help to coordinate services with the aim of addressing court involvement.


Minimum Training and Experience:
Masters degree and licensed eligible or licensed. Desired: Experience working with at-risk youth and their families. Experience providing crisis intervention or emergency services to at risk youth.

Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by first day of employment and annually as required by licensing authority.
