Mental Health Residential House Manager

General Information:
Employment will oversee the daily operation of the Supervised Living Program, Turning Point, which develops independent living skills. Employee is responsible for the direct care, supervision, and support of consumers in residential, day support, and additional mental health support scenarios which enable the consumer to participate in community lifestyles. Work involves insuring the safety and security of consumers, and assisting them with routine medication and personal care. Work also involves assisting in routine clerical duties. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, consumers, families, and service providers.

Minimum Training and Experience:



Bachelors degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field, and 1 to 2 years experience in direct care programs (QMHP), preferably involving work with the mentally ill; management experience perferred.




Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must possess CPR, First Aid, and Medication Management Certifications. Must possess non-violent crisis intervention certificate. Must also be certified tuberculosis free on an annual basis as required by licensing authority.
