General Information:
Employee is responsible for providing training and support to individuals in the Supervised Transitional Program. Work involves training of functional and independent living skills and appropriate behavior related to the client's health and safety, activities of daily living, community resources medication management and monitoring of health, nutrition and physical condition. Employee must exercise considerable initiative and judgment in the effective and efficient administration of departmental programs. Must also exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, clients, families, public and service providers.

Minimum Training and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Psychology, or related field, and at least one year clinical experience that meet QMHP [Qualified Mental Health Provider] or PARA professional requirements.

 


Special Requirements:
Must posses a valid Virginia Driver's License with driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier. Must possess  CPR/First Aid Certifications,  Medication Management.  Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results by first day of employment and annually as required by licensing authority.
