General Information:
Under general supervision, assists in the daily operation of departmental work units designed to develop independent living skills.  Employee must meet criteria as a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP).  Employee is responsible for the direct care, supervision, and support of individuals served in a day support scenario, which enables these individuals to participate in community lifestyles. Work involves insuring the personal care, safety, and security of Individuals served.  Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, individuals served families, and service providers. 

Minimum Training and Experience:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Nursing or related field.

Experience required: 1 to 2 years clinical experience working in a medical or psychological field, Must qualify as Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP).


Special Requirements:

Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier. Must possess CPR, First Aid, Medication Management, TOVA (Therapeutic Options of VA), and Medicaid Waiver Certifications.  Must be certified tuberculosis free on an annual basis as required by licensing authority.
